Display of different latent images under a special transparent sheet
Technology overview
This technology produces a dynamic visual effect that reveals a couple of different latent images when a special transparent sheet is placed over a document, and can also be applied with a variety of printing methods. Several different patterns can be displayed depending on the combination of transparent sheets, which makes it easy for anyone to check the authenticity of a document.
This technology can be applied to any printed materials produced using various types of printing including offset, gravure and even inkjet. The special transparent sheets can also be produced inexpensively.
Product examples
When a resident card or event ticket is overlaid with a transparent sheet, a local government emblem or other designated image appears. The broad range of this method's application includes making textual information appear on ID photos (below).
