Environmental Policy

Basic Principle

The integrated Odawara Plant manufactures paper and prints Bank of Japan notes as well as other products with focus on environmental friendliness and recycling. The facility supports low-carbon output based on awareness of local and global impacts, promoting harmony with the environment as a flagship National Printing Bureau plant.

Environmental Action Guidelines

In line with its basic philosophy and its medium-term/general operation plan, the plant complies with relevant environmental laws and regulations and runs a management system to improve environmental performance. Focus is placed on ongoing system improvement, including:
