The National Printing Bureau has been awarded the JICA President Award at the 14th JICA President Award Commendation

The 14th JICA President Award Commendation Ceremony has taken place on Monday, October 1st, 2018 at the International Conference Hall in JICA Ichigaya Building by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The National Printing Bureau has been awarded the JICA President Award to the technical cooperation project with the State Bank of Vietnam, which was conducted from FY2014 to FY2017.
JICA presents the JICA President Award to the persons or organizations to commend preeminent achievements to the socio-economic development in developing countries.
The technical cooperation project with the State Bank of Vietnam
Based on a JICA technical cooperation project to strengthen capacity of the State Bank of Vietnam in printing ink production, the National Printing Bureau conducted technical cooperation from FY2014 to FY2017, which includes the dispatch of our staff members as JICA experts on a long-term and short-term basis and conducting some short-term training programs.
*The State Bank of Vietnam is the central bank of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. Vietnamese banknotes are manufactured at the bank’s printing works (the National Banknote Printing Plant).
